The Wild Man is a feature film about the Florida Big Foot, aka Skunk Ape. It takes place in sunny Tampa, Florida, starring a journalist and her friends trying to uncover the mystery behind a missing person. Next thing they know, they are in too deep. Managing the wardrobe on this film was a very fun experience. Many scenes took place in the outdoors, some inside secret government facilities. There was much to play with. I wanted to keep the main actors in comfortable clothing to explore the Florida nature scenes in. Each character clearly has their own style. The most fun part was designing a wardrobe for the classic Florida man character, Dave, a novice in Skunk Ape tracking who helps the other characters on their journey. He is definitely an odd man and I wanted his clothing to reflect that. The government facility had to have lots of security, so I got to dress many extras in full squadron gear and ghillie suits. I was also the set dresser and props manager on this film so I managed all the fake AK47s, test tubes, science experiments, and more!
